Alamoot IVby ~Earthenblood

Artisan Crafts / Costumery / Costumes / Character & Theme

Second Faun-ish costume done for myself, named Alamoot. Was intended to be a faun/dryad sort of hybrid, but as the days got hotter and nearer to full dress rehearsal, my ideas fell short of that intention. Though I still like the design. I am not nearly the quality of actor or model that Brett is, but the intention here was to have fun, and learn.

Close up with cloak, first day I got my make up design down, not quite as well done as the days to come.

Done for Sherwood Forest Faire of 2012 along with my Fiancee in the original Satyr costume [link]

HelicaseHelio and I were always sitting on the stairs, chatting about the lamina and occasionally making snide remarks about ribosomes. There wasn't much for us to do. Our job was to simply be, and let the RNA scribble down the letters on our foreheads when they came around every once in a while. Helio was a G, I was a C. It wasn't exactly fulfilling, I suppose. There wasn't much to be filled. So to pass the time, we talked.
"You ever wonder?" Helio asked.
